Today I made a trip to Kazan to see my dentist and spend some time with my relatives

Today I drove to Kazan for a dental check-up. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a rather unproductive trip. I spent nearly three hours on the road, while the appointment itself lasted no more than ten minutes. The dentist simply checked my implants, asked how I was feeling, and confirmed that everything was fine.

To be honest, I already knew that. I haven’t experienced any discomfort, and the surgery area has fully healed. So I couldn’t help but feel slightly confused — was it really worth spending so much time on the road for such a brief visit?

The trip became even more frustrating because of traffic. I got stuck in several traffic jams — two on my way into Kazan and another on my way back. The worst one happened during the return trip. It lasted at least thirty minutes in an area that normally takes only three to five minutes to pass. The main issue was that the roads hadn’t been properly cleared, which made driving slow and uncomfortable.

On my way back to my city, something even more alarming happened. A group of people with foreign license plates had partially blocked the road using black and gray plastic boxes. On top of them, they had placed some unclear objects — perhaps jars or something similar. The obstacles were difficult to see from a distance, especially because the weather conditions were poor. I barely managed to stop in time and even had to move slightly into the opposite lane to avoid hitting them. Fortunately, I have a dashcam, so I plan to review the footage tomorrow to better understand what happened.

When I finally reached my city, I turned toward my relatives’ house. Earlier, I had been told to come directly there because they were organizing a Quran recitation gathering and had invited close family members. By the time I arrived at around 4 PM, most of the guests had already left. As a result, I was able to enjoy the food peacefully and have relaxed conversations about various topics. After spending some time with my relatives, I returned home.

Today I drove to Kazan, visited the dentist's office and of course, my relatives too

It was a pretty unproductive trip to Kazan. Because I spent around three hours on the road, and my appointment continued no more than ten minutes. In fact, they just checked my dental implants and asked a few questions about how I'm feeling. As a result, I received just everything is okay. Well, yeah, I already knew that everything is okay. I never felt any issues with my implants, and the surgery area already recovered. But I was a bit confused. Why did I spend so much time without clear reasons? However, another annoying thing happened in Kazan.

During my drive, I got stuck in a few traffic jams. Two were when I arrived in Kazan and another one when I came back. Unfortunately, the heaviest traffic jam was during my comeback. It continued for no less than thirty minutes, and that area I usually drove around in 3-5 minutes. The main reason why it happened is because of messy roads. Because the roads were extremely messy, nobody shoveled them. So driving a car was not easy and not comfortable.

During my drive to my city, another terrible accident happened. Strange people, with foreign car plates blocked the road. They used black and gray plastic boxes, and on the top they put something understandable, like a jar. I don't know what happened there. But their boxes were not visible from the distance, and the weather wasn't good. As a result, I couldn't detect obstacles, and I barely stopped the car. Even I was forced to take a bit of the opposite direction of the road. Fortunately, I have a dashcam and tomorrow I need to check it.

When I reached my city border, I took the next turn and drove to my relatives. About it, I was informed early to drive directly to my relatives. Because, they decided to organize a Quran recitation gathering, they invited closer guests. (Yesterday I also mentioned it here). Finally, I reached my relatives around 4 PM, by that time, all the guests had left, so I comfortably enjoyed the food and discussed any topics. After I spent some time with my relatives, I came back home.
