I came across a post about English writing on Reddit by chance

I spent the day at home completing my work tasks. In the evening, I couldn’t rest either, as I worked on my freelance project. Although the project wasn’t large or difficult, it took me around two hours to finish, and by the end, I felt a bit tired and had a headache. To refresh myself, I decided to take a walk around my neighborhood. The air temperature was around -20 degrees, but it didn’t bother me. The fresh air helped me feel much better, and I rested a lot during the walk. After returning home, I was ready to finish my routine and relax properly. I made myself some fresh, clear water with lemon and began my final daily routine.

This is a photo from my walk today. This year has brought an unusually heavy amount of snow, and the streets of my small city are already buried under it. Even thinking about how long it will take to melt feels slightly unsettling

During the day, another pleasant event happened on Reddit. I randomly found a post on r/EnglishLearning and decided to leave a comment about my own experience. The post was also about writing, and the author had written about their daily life. To my surprise, my comment received several replies, and the author even asked for my blog address. I hadn’t expected anyone to ask directly for my blog, so I sent it immediately. I felt a little excited that someone was genuinely interested in my writing.

Unfortunately, I forgot to mention anything about the author’s writing. Tomorrow, I plan to respond and give my honest feedback. The author’s text was very clear, enjoyable, and easy to read. Of course, this is just my opinion — maybe I can’t spot mistakes at my current English level — but it’s clear that the author has a much higher level of English than I do.

I randomly find the post about English writing on Reddit

I spent the day at home and did my work tasks. Then during the evening I also couldn't rest. I did my freelance project. Even though my freelance work wasn't big and difficult, I spent around two hours on it. By the end I felt a bit tired and had a headache. So I decided to go for a walk around my neighborhood. But the air temperature was around -20 degrees, and it didn't bother me. Because the fresh air helped me feel much better, I even rested a lot. After the walk, I was ready to finish my routine and relax properly. I made myself fresh, clear water with lemon and started my final day routine.

During the day, another pleasant situation happened on Reddit. I randomly found the post from r/EnglishLearning and decided to leave the comment about my experience. Because that post was also about writing, and the author started writing about their days. But my comment got a few replies, and the author asked for my blog address. I couldn't think, someone would directly ask for my blog address, so I sent it directly. After that I was a little bit excited, that someone was interested in my writing.

Unfortunately, I forgot to write a few words about the author's writing. So tomorrow I need to respond and send him my honest feedback. Because the author had very nice, clear, and enjoyable text. It made it easy to understand and read it. Of course it's just my opinion. Maybe I just can't find mistakes with my English level, but the author has a much better English level than me.

Honest Feedback
Strengths:
- You write clearly and sequentially — your story follows a logical timeline.
- You include personal feelings and reflections, which makes the text engaging.
- You use specific details like temperature and time spent, which make it vivid.

Areas to Improve:
- Grammar and sentence structure: You often use short, simple sentences. Connecting them with appropriate conjunctions will make the text flow better.
- Articles and prepositions: Small mistakes like “from r/EnglishLearning” → “on r/EnglishLearning” or “fresh, clear water” → “fresh, clear water with lemon” are minor but important for fluency.
- Word choice: Some phrases are repetitive or slightly unnatural, e.g., “it didn’t bother me. Because the fresh air helped me feel much better” → could be combined.
- Tense consistency: Mostly okay, but small adjustments can make it smoother.
- Overall, your writing is very understandable. With some adjustments to flow, word choice, and sentence variety, it can sound much more natural and “advanced.”
