My observations about my day and finally, our heating system is working pretty well
My night was comfortable enough because the previous night was a bit annoying. The main problem was our heating system. It broke when the temperature outside was –25 degrees. Because of that, I was forced to go to bed fully dressed, which made me unhappy. Yesterday, the technician fixed the broken part and serviced the system. Now our heating system and hot water are working effectively. I described this in more detail in my previous posts. However, my morning was a bit early. I woke up at 8 a.m., and I managed to complete my morning routine without any worries. I even had some free time before work and talked with my family. Overall, it was my second quiet and happy morning. Recently, I usually woke up around 9 a.m. and immediately started working, and I couldn’t finish my routine properly.
About my day, there is nothing new to write. It was very similar to the previous day. I worked all day and spent the whole day and evening at home. However, I have some observations about the weather and the road near my home.
During the last few days, the temperature stayed between –25 and –30 degrees, and this happened exactly when our heating system was broken. I don’t know how this is possible. But now, when the heating system is working, the temperature is –9 degrees. I think it’s either some kind of mysticism or just Murphy’s law. During the day, I noticed how the temperature slowly went up. Around 11 a.m., it was –19 degrees, and later it became –9 degrees. The day was a bit sunny, but closer to the evening it started snowing because the clouds covered the sky.
My second observation is about the road. Now all the cars drive near my home, and traffic jams have started to appear even on my street. I’ve never seen traffic jams here before, but unfortunately, now I have to see them. The main reason is that the central road is closed. The central square will be used for New Year celebrations, and the road will be closed until the New Year holidays. So now I can watch traffic jams from my window, and I might get stuck there if I go somewhere by car.
After my workday, I decided to watch Emilia Hartford. She bought a Porsche 911 GT3 after a fire accident and started rebuilding it. In this episode, she drove it around the neighborhood and rebuilt some important parts.
Something interesting also happened with the Schengen visa. In a visa chat, I saw a message about someone making an appointment. I tried to do the same, but I couldn’t complete it. I could choose a date, upload my photo, and even received a PIN code by email, but then everything froze. I tried several times and then stopped, because right now I’m not very curious about it.
