Rainy day, troubles with internet, VPN, and foreign services
My day started with a rainy morning. When I woke up, the rain clouds were covering the entire sky, and it kept raining the whole day. Not even for a few minutes did the rain take a break—it just kept going non-stop. But this rainy day didn’t really bother me. It only distracted me from time to time when I turned off the noise-canceling mode on my headphones. If I keep my windows closed, I can listen without noise canceling, since I usually spend my day alone and it’s very quiet here. The weather wasn’t too bad though—the temperature outside was around 8 degrees, and when I looked through the window, I could feel a very warm wind.
However, I had troubles with my internet, VPN, Google Meet, and other foreign services. When I tried to join our monthly meeting, nothing worked. After connecting, it kicked me back to the main page and showed an error saying, “You have problems with your internet connection.” Instead, I joined our Telegram broadcast channel and watched the meeting there. But even there I had issues—disconnects, no sound, and other problems. In short, everything worked extremely badly.
I noticed this problem for the first time since I’ve been here, and I’ve already been here for more than two months. Even when you use a VPN, nothing works—everything struggles and runs so slowly. It’s so annoying to work like this; it really bothers me. I don’t even have words to describe how frustrating it is.
