About my weekend and tomorrow’s work day
Today is the last day of October, and it’s Friday. But tomorrow I’ll have a work day. Next week I’ll have the weekend until November 5. During these days, we have holidays: National Unity Day (a Russian Federation holiday) and Constitution Day of the Republic of Tatarstan on November 6. However, I can’t rest on November 6 because I’m working in another region, and that day is only a day off for companies in Tatarstan. Therefore, I lose one weekend day, and it’s a workday for me. I also wanted to take a day off on Saturday because working on Saturday slightly disrupts my work rhythm and week schedule. From previous years, I clearly remember that when I worked on Saturday, I started to think Saturday was Friday, and it bothered me. Therefore, I don’t like changing my workdays. Also, I forgot to mention one nice thing: tomorrow I’ll work only until 5 PM, which is a short workday, so I decided not to take a day off.
I’ve already planned my weekend. I plan to visit two places. At the first place, we’re invited to a birthday celebration. In the second part of the day, closer to the evening, we plan to go to another place where we’re invited to a Quran ashy — a traditional event I’ve mentioned here before. So, my first weekend day will be busy. For the rest of the days, I plan to stay at home and work on my freelance project. I hope I can finish it, even though I don’t have any new ideas yet.
I also wanted to visit Kazan because I haven’t been there for more than a month, and I have some routines there. Unfortunately, I’ll need to postpone this plan to either November 8 or 15. Right now, I don’t know exactly when I’ll be able to go because I’m busy with my freelance work and family routine. I hope I can visit soon because it’s important to me.
A bit about today: it was cloudy but a bit warm and without rain, which is already good. My work went as usual — I finished my tasks, participated in a Google Meet, and did some other small routine tasks. Even though it’s Friday and I have to work tomorrow, today was really positive and productive.
