One story from my work and a bit about my day

Today was pretty good because I managed to close three of my old work tasks. One of them I started in June, but I kept putting it on pause because I had other priority tasks or something else came up. As for the other two tasks, they were created about two months ago, or maybe a bit less. The weather was also nice — no rain today. The sky was covered with clouds all day, but sometimes the sun appeared through them. I think it’s much better than being stuck at home all day listening to the rain falling on the roof. So, during my lunch break, I went for a walk and walked for about 40 minutes near the river.

It’s another walking area near the river. A few years ago, the city administration developed this place, and now everyone can walk and relax here. I took this photo on October 8, 2025

There’s nothing very interesting to say about my day, since I mostly just worked and tried to finish my tasks. However, something a bit funny happened last week with our CEO. One day, our CEO wrote a message in our main work chat. The message was about the post-COVID period and how all the employees in our company still work remotely. He also said that our company is very unique because most other companies already work from the office. But my colleagues and I didn’t completely agree with that. In our department chat, some people said their friends from other companies also work remotely. I agreed with them because my friends and relatives also work from home. So, our company isn’t that unique yet.
