Today I woke up at 8:35 AM, and yesterday I fell asleep at 11 PM. Honestly, I didn’t plan to fall asleep — I just wanted to lie down for about 10–15 minutes. I had been working all day and couldn’t lie down even once. After I got up, I wanted to do my routine, but unfortunately, I ended up sleeping until 3 AM. When I woke up the first time, I found my phone next to me, and I was a bit happy because I could have broken it under me or dropped it on the floor. I quickly moved my phone to the table, brushed my teeth, undressed, prepared my bed, and started the second part of my sleep. I don’t even remember how I fell asleep — I just jumped onto my bed, and after about 10 seconds, I was already asleep. Even my Mi Band showed that I slept for 9.4 hours. It’s quite long and also not very healthy. I also want to say that I usually never sleep this early. Normally, I go to bed after 1 AM.
When I woke up in the morning, it was a sunny day with a clear blue sky. It was Friday — my next favorite day. I’ve already written about it many times in my posts, and now I’m repeating it again. While I was doing my morning routine, it was already around 9 AM. I had about 10 minutes before work started, so I used that time for breakfast. Today my breakfast was very simple: I ate half of a cake with water and one banana. It was my quickest breakfast ever, but even though it was short, I still managed to watch and listen to my favorite American show.
After breakfast, as usual, I started my work. First, we connected on Google Meet for our team meeting, where we discussed our tasks and any problems people had. The second part of the day was just a regular workday — I did my tasks and sometimes asked my colleagues questions. Everything was normal, so there isn’t much else to say about it.
However, my evening was a bit more interesting. Today we had guests again — it’s already the second time this week. It’s a bit strange because they started visiting us quite often. Well, it doesn’t matter, and I don’t mind it. But I heard one interesting story about the current president of the Republic of Tatarstan. The story happened around 1990–2000, if I understood correctly. At that time, he wasn’t the president yet. Once, he traveled abroad — I’m not sure whether it was a family trip or a business trip, but that doesn’t matter. And during breakfast, he saw a kiwi on the table. You already know kiwi — it’s a fruit that looks a bit like an egg and has a hairy skin. When he saw this unfamiliar fruit, he said an interesting phrase: "What is it? It looks like a hairy egg!".
I think you can already understand why he said that — it was the first time in his life he had ever seen this fruit. This story was very funny to me because now I know this funny story about the president. It really lifted my mood again. Maybe it’s not actually that funny, or maybe I just couldn’t describe it correctly.
