Today I had an accident with my bike and got a bruise and some scrapes

My morning was a little rainy, but it didn’t stop me. After breakfast, around 9:30 a.m., I quickly changed my clothes and went for a bike ride. When I left home, I noticed that the ground and asphalt weren’t too dirty. That made me happy, so I started my ride. I couldn’t even imagine what would happen next. When I was going downhill through some trees, I fell off. While going down, I pressed the front brake, and the back of my bike lifted up. I felt it, but it was already too late — I fell. I got a big bruise (about 10×15 cm) on my knee, and now it hurts a little when I walk. I also got some scrapes on my hands and legs, but nothing serious. I tore my shorts and a bit of my sneakers. Fortunately, my bike is fine — nothing broke. Honestly, I’m happier about my bike than about myself.

The result of my bike accident — this is my knee. I hit it on a tree. I hope it’s nothing serious and the pain will go away soon

After the accident, I still rode for about an hour or so. But soon it was lunchtime, and my knee didn’t make me happy anymore, so I decided to go home. When I arrived and started eating my lunch, it began to rain — just ten minutes after I got home. It’s still raining now while I’m writing this post.

I spent the second part of my day at home because it’s rainy, cold, and just an autumn day. I decided not to waste time and continued working on my blog. I turned on some random music on YouTube and started listening while I worked. The first song that played was Shape of You by Music Travel Love. In this version, a beautiful girl and two guys sing together — I’ve already rewatched this video ten or more times.

Here’s a little bit about what I did today with my blog. Honestly, I can’t even remember everything I finished today, but these are the main things I managed to complete. I finished my post view counter system — now everything works and counts correctly. I refactored my old code and separated it into services, so now everything is more understandable and secure. I also designed the main page for mobile devices and made some smaller improvements. I haven’t finished the rating system yet, but I published what I have so far — you can check it out. It takes a lot of time and is a bit difficult to build, but I hope I can finish it this week.
