I’m in Kazan, and autumn is on the brink of winter

There is no snow in Kazan yet, and it’s unclear when it will come, or if it will come at all. The temperature is between -3 and -5 degrees, the sun sometimes comes out, but the days are short — it starts getting dark at 3:00 PM.
It doesn’t feel like winter in Kazan yet: people are still hoping for snow, but the weather is unpredictable. The evenings are getting colder, and we want warmth. But even with these temperatures, the city looks very beautiful, especially when the sun is shining, despite the cold.
