I'm in the IGA Business Lounge at the new Istanbul Airport (IST)

Well, I'm in the business lounge and I'm very surprised because the manager told me I can stay here until my flight. Usually, the stay time is 4 hours, but for me it’s unlimited. When I asked the manager why I could stay so long, he answered, "Because I'm a good man, go and enjoy." It’s all a bit strange. I just hope that when I leave, they don’t ask me to pay an extra fee.

Tomato soup, vegetables (carrot, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, and salad with Turkish yogurt), white bread, and three types of cakes. For a drink, I chose Sprite. This time, I chose a little less food, without meat

I think it’s not so bad here, though it’s not a luxury business lounge. My previous lounge in Singapore, called Marhaba, was more luxurious. This one is also a bit crowded. However, the IGA Lounge provides showers, a smoking area, a full flight information board, a panoramic view of the runways, a prayer room, a kids’ area, and many types of food—fruits, vegetables, cakes, and coffee. I think the food here is even more than in my previous lounge. I like this lounge and I would recommend it. Anyway, I don’t want to write too much. I just want to eat and rest a little, because I’ve spent the whole night and day in the airport.
