It’s my sixth day in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — I don’t have enough time for my planned routine
Hey there, I hope everything is well with you. I’m doing fine too, but I don’t have enough time and I can’t follow my plans on schedule. Today is already Thursday, and I still don’t have a hotel reservation or a stay permit for Singapore. I slept until 11 AM and spent almost the whole day. Today I really need to book a hotel and get my stay permit!
Yesterday I worked until 10 PM, and after my workday I decided to improve my English. I read one section of my book Sherlock Holmes. I spent about 1.5 hours reading. After that, I spent 30 minutes on Duolingo, and then I spoke with AI for one hour. For the first 30 minutes, I told her about my day, how I worked, what I ate, and other things. Now AI knows more about me than I know about myself. For the last 30 minutes, AI told me fun facts about octopuses. It was very useful because now I know more about octopuses and I could practice my speaking skills.
By the time I finished these routines, it was already 1 AM, and I finally went to bed. But I couldn’t fall asleep for one or two hours. Instead of sleeping, I took my phone, went on Reddit, and started reading world news. There I found one topic about relationships, where a guy shared his story about his girlfriend. He described how everything bad between them, but he still continued the relationship. I thought, if you don’t like your girlfriend, you should just break up with her. I left that comment and moved on from that topic.
