It’s my fourth day in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — I had extremely spicy food, and I couldn’t eat it

This morning was very loud. First, it was raining heavily outside, and second, someone shot very loudly in the lobby. Naturally, I couldn’t sleep, so I woke up early, around 7 or 8 a.m. It was my first day in Asia when I woke up so early. Everything else was as usual — I did my morning routine and started working on my plans.

I have a small bathroom with hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, body wash, and toothbrushes

Yesterday I had a problem because I ordered food, and it turned out to be very spicy. For dinner, I chose chicken fried rice and paratha (which is like South Indian-style bread). When I was ordering the food, there was no mention of spiciness. But in the end, I had an extremely spicy chicken fried rice. Even when I started eating, I understood that the food was not for me, so I threw it out. Instead, I could have just eaten the paratha, and I ended up having to order more food from McDonald's.
