How I Almost Got in Trouble with the Police in France

This happened in France. I was walking on the French streets, enjoying the European atmosphere and taking nice photos to remember it. The streets were full of life: street musicians were playing music, and cafes smelled of fresh pastries. Every corner felt special, and I couldn’t resist taking pictures of everything.

Tomb of Napoleon

But at some point, things went wrong. Suddenly, I heard shouting from behind me. I turned around and saw two police officers coming toward me quickly, almost running. When I saw them, I stopped; they were about 150-200 meters behind me. The officers came up to me and asked to see the photos I took. They quickly looked through my photos, and a minute later, they let me go without any questions. I still don’t understand what that was or what they were looking for. What if they found photos that, in their opinion, I wasn’t allowed to take?
